ボストンの Brigham & Women's Hospital にある屋上石庭 — 病院の癒し環境のための伝統的な日本の石組。
植物は季節ごとに変わります。石は一度置かれると、庭の永遠の骨格として残ります。この屋上の石庭は、その考え方を病院という場所に持ち込みます。
配置は伝統的な石の間隔と性格に従い — 形、傾き、周囲の石との関係で一つひとつ選びます。

Toshio surpassed my expectations on every project with his creativity and design, and always finished on time and on budget. We met during the design stage to review his drawings, discuss materials, and plan the schedule. He is a unique craftsman with a designer’s mind and skillful hands. On every project he has done for me I have been truly impressed with the final result — if I had a project today, he would be the first person I’d call. His training in Japan gives him an advantage: he thinks a project through to the last detail from the beginning, blending Japanese and American design into new and beautiful work.
